The macOS 10.10 and newer can easily connect to windows 10.

• Open File Explorer
•   Click Network
• Locate the Mac you want to connect
• Double-click the Mac
• Enter the account name and password
• Take a moment for the Windows computer to show that the Mac is on the network.
